This safari itinerary covers; Tsavo National Parks (East & West), Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park and Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Maasai Mara is probably Kenya’s number one tourist destination it holds spectacular scenery as well as vast amounts of bird and wildlife. The Reserve is famous for it’s huge herds of Wildebeest and Zebra which migrate through Maasai Mara from the Serengeti around June-October each year. However aside from abundant birdlife the Maasai Mara is a Big 5 National Reserve meaning it has Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Black Rhino which permanently reside here.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago.

Tsavo National Park is big and beautiful – the deep colors of its sprawling savannah melt into its rolling hills and endless sky. On these plains, you’ll find every sort of natural wildlife, from the great lion and buffalo to the charming bushbaby, dik-dik, and monkey.

Then, travel down the highway in the direction of mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro and Amboseli National Park, which sits at the foot of Africa’s tallest peak. Great herds of elephants dominate the landscape here, parading past the snow-capped mountain. With its glorious sunsets, abundant wildlife, and majestic summit, Amboseli is just about picture-perfect.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town. You will arrive in time for lunch. check in at CAMP and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at MARA ELEPHANT SPRINGS TENTED CAMP

Day 2: Masai Mara

Early morning game drive game drive return back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Meals and overnight at MARA ELEPHANT SPRINGS TENTED CAMP or MANYATTA TENTED CAMP.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast at your camp, after breakfast, Leave Mara for Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in at CITYMAX HOTEL have lunch and relax. Later afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

Early morning breakfast game en-route and leave Lake Nakuru for Amboseli National Park to arrive with a short game drive in time for lunch, check in at the camp have lunch and rest .Afternoon game drive at the park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.

Day 5: Amboseli

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 6: Amboseli - Tsavo West

Early morning game drives return to your camp for breakfast, after breakfast leave Amboseli for Tsavo West Game en route to the lodge Lodge. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Tsavo West RHINO WATCH SAFARI LODGE.

Day 7: Tsavo west - Tsavo east

Early morning breakfast game en-route with a visit to Mzima Springs later on depart Tsavo West to Tsavo East national pack which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions Game en route to the lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, another game drive at the park later dinner and overnight at the ZOMENI LIONHILL LODGE.

Day 8 - Tsavo east / Mombasa

Early morning breakfast game en-route drive out of tsavo east and head to Mombasa you arriving around lunch time we drop you to your hotel or Airport.
