Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Your adventure begins with a drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingo-filled lake and rhino sanctuary. After lunch, head out for a game drive around the lake, where you’ll see a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and flamingos. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for the Masai Mara. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the Mara by midday. After lunch, embark on your first game drive in the park, which is home to the Big Five and known for its thrilling wildlife sightings. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the full day exploring the vast plains of Masai Mara. You’ll have a chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and a variety of other animals. You can also visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture (optional). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Serengeti (Cross Border at Isebania)

After breakfast, drive to Isebania to cross into Tanzania. After clearing immigration and customs, continue to the Serengeti, one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is home to incredible wildlife, including the Great Migration in season, as well as lions, elephants, and zebras. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. The park is vast, with diverse habitats, and you will have the opportunity to see an array of wildlife, from predators like lions and cheetahs to large herds of wildebeests and elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, enjoy stunning views of the landscape as you approach the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll stop at the viewpoint to take in the breathtaking views of the caldera, one of the largest volcanic craters in the world, without descending into the crater itself. Afterward, continue to your lodge near the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Rim to Arusha or JRO Airport

After breakfast, enjoy the last views of the Ngorongoro Crater before heading back to Arusha. You’ll have a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside, with a chance to relax before arriving in Arusha or JRO Airport for your drop-off. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
